Conversations with The Ramos

The Ramos recently sat down for a chit chat with the good people over at La Liga for a segment they coyly called, “Sergio Ramos’ More Personal Side”. The question of just how personal his interview would be had our minds racing for at least two hours.
But of course, we were misled.
Before you watch the above vid we must warn you to lower your expectations. You will not be privy to Sergio’s below the belt measurements, his Nietzsche critical texts collection nor shall you receive an update on Odi since everyone last saw him.
From what little he does offer up, we’ve succinctly paraphrased his two best soundbites for you to skim as you struggle to dig out your headphones anyway:
- After coming up through the Sevilla youth system, he used his first big paycheck to buy his grandmother shiny new appliances and commodities for her kitchen and bathroom.
- The Ramos also explained that he was raised in a ‘good, Christian family,’ and considers himself to be religious. He even has a tattoo of Jesus on his arm, but admitted that it’s occasionally fun to ‘disconnect and let out the naughty boy’. We concur.
