DTotD: Ronaldinho sent off for weak Rooney impression
During Flamengo’s 1-0 win over Ceara last weekend, Ronaldinho got in a brief tussle with Heleno by the touchline. He didn’t appreciate Heleno’s elbows in his face, so he kicked at the Ceara midfielder’s legs. The ref then decided to show both of them a straight red — Ronaldinho’s first since returning to Brazil.
If a little love tap like this is all it takes to get a red card in Brazil, then Wayne Rooney would probably be serving a lifetime ban if he played there.
