Swarm of Bees halt Bahia match between Fluminense de Feira & Juazeirense

Incredible scenes played out in the Bahia match between Fluminense de Feira & Juazeirense as a swarm of bees led to a halt in play.

In the Adauto Moraes stadium in Juazeiro, players, fans and officials were forced to take drastic action when the flying insects appeared.

The players and referee instinctively lay on the ground to escape the swarm whilst fans behind the goal were forced to take shelter under a giant banner.

Eventually the match restarted, with Fluminense de Feira emerging 1-0 winners to secure a crucial win against their battle to avoid relegation.

The footage below is made a little more creepy due to both the music and the fact that it is very difficult to make out the bees.
