Two golazos, one game: Ivan Bobko (Chornomorets) vs Metalist
Ivan Bobko is not a footballer many will have heard of.
21-years-old and playing for the unfashionable Ukrainian club Chornomorets, Bobka made only his fourth appearance of the season on Sunday against Metalist, however the youngster had a sublime performance with two golazos in a thrilling 3-3 draw.
Bobko broke the deadlock in the fourth minute.
Following a period of scrappy play in which neither team retained possession for long, the ball reach Bobko 25-yards from the Metalist net, in a central position. Then, with barely a whiff of any backlift, Bobko leathered a ripper into the roof of the net. 1-0.
Metalist swung the contest with two goals in the first half to hold a 2-1 advantage at the break, only for Bobko to snatch another screamer midway through the second period.
Much like his opener, Bobko again displayed his long-range shooting prowess in levelling the match. This time he collected the ball over 35-yards from goal and, after a couple of neat touches to break forward, he unleashed a second howitzer of the match to again put his name up in lights.
